A wide audience
The Kingsway Development is a prestigious project within Gloucestershire and
the whole of the South West region. It also plays a part in the ongoing regeneration
of the City of Gloucester. The development is not only offering new homes, but also
a Business Park providing 1,000,000 feet of office space; a local centre incorporating
a new Sainsbury’s superstore and a variety of local shops; two new schools; health
and leisure facilities; and a modern, integrated transport system.
For this reason, it was imperative from the start that the Kingsway website connected
with a wide audience and offered easily navigable information that fulfilled the needs
of all these groups.

Consultation and Evolution
Since the Kingswsay project began in 2005, Magnetize have been required to provide an
ongoing consultation service to the consortium, ensuring that the website closely reflects
the needs of the consortium members as well as external businesses and the public. The site
is constantly evolving as the development itself grows and this will continue into the next
decade as the future plans for the Kingsway community are realised.
Content Management
The speed of change at Kingsway and its relevance to so many groups of people means that
news releases regarding progress and forward planning at the site are issued regularly. To
ensure that these releases are posted on the site with the regularity and promptness required,
Magnetize have included a content management system, which sits behind the main website, enabling
the consortium to upload their own news articles and accompanying photography with ease.
